Cloud Surge was founded in 2022 by Ilyas Khan and Zhagum Arshad, two friends who grew up between Birmingham and Pakistan and saw the same pattern play out in both places: talented people being left out of high-growth tech careers because of where they were from.

The commercial model and the social mission are the same thing. We build great delivery teams, we give those teams to clients who need them, and we find the people for those teams in places that have been overlooked. That's how a business in Birmingham creates IT careers in Gojra.
